L&T 3D Printing a Bengaluru Post Office

It has been reported that L&T Construction, the construction division of Larsen & Toubro , has utilised 3D printing technology in order to create a post office in Bengaluru, India. According to the company operations, the project is to design and construct the Halasuru Post Office utilising 3D Concrete Printing technology within 45 days. The office will be 1,000 square feet in size. It is believed that this project was the first time in India that 3D printing technology was employed for the construction of a government building. The work was carried out in coordination with the Department of Posts of the Indian government.
